Desmond Ong promises to hand his customers the golden key to start making over $11,000 within the next couple of days through his Key to 10k training. He makes it clear that his product isn’t for folks who are looking to make $100 to $200 per month. Furthermore, he says his claims are hype-free. A Message from Desmond’s Former Employee

Four months after publishing this review, one of Desmond Ong’s former employees shared some of his experiences and insight after working for Desmond. You can see his comment below this review, but I’m adding it here as well because I wanted to be sure you read it:

Love your review here!

There are just so many fake testimonials from Fiverr or scammers for these kind of product. I’m sorry I have to expressing some negativity here. But yea, Desmond Ong is a super-duper thick-face scammer! Why I’m so sure. I used to work for him! He told me his company is doing amazing things like Mindvalley.

I started feeling not right since the first day of working with him. Then I go on for another 9 months because I travel oversea just to work for him (aka I’m stuck to resign). The truth is, Desmond Ong never achieve all those things – he was staying with his parents and driving his dad’s old car (maybe getting richer now since scamming others every single month).

He creates stories, he’s calling himself bestselling author after the book came out for a week. And 90% of the content in the book is talking about his achievement and trying to sell some coaching program.

I’m not promoting this product for affiliate commissions. I’m only reviewing this product objectively, as I’ve done others, to protect my readers from wasting hard-earned money and precious time on products that won’t make them money.

This Review at a Glance

Desmond Ong certainly has a mouth-watering offer, which he clearly states is no hype. He says it’s worked for him and most of his students. This unbiased review reveals the truth about this product. Whether this is finally a newbies’ dream come true or just another worthless, shiny object will be determined at the end of this review.

Desmond Ong’s Motivational Ability

Desmond is quite a motivational speaker who can spur on a discouraged internet marketer to success. He’s a fan of positive thinking and encourages his followers to be, which is an advantage, as no internet marketer can succeed without that.

Desmond Provides Templates

Desmond provides his customers useful copyrighting examples in form of templates that they could customize to meet their unique marketing needs.

Own a Product

Desmond Ong encourages his students to create their own products with lots of value packed into them. This is a good thing because those who make the most money online are product owners who offer value to their customers.

Basic Internet Marketing Skills

He teaches basic Internet Marketing skills, which stark newbies can certainly benefit from, as they’re allowed a peek into what happens behind the Internet Marketing scenes. Some of his lessons were on finding profitable niches, finding affiliate products to promote, building email lists (even though he said his product had nothing to do with list building, which is contradictory), driving traffic etc.

He demonstrates the use of a simple structure, which comprises driving traffic to a sales page, collecting emails of potential buyers and leading them to live events, such as webinars, to make them buy. However, he doesn’t provide sufficient details on these subjects, making them difficult for newbies to follow and implement.

Upsells Await You

During the purchase of this product, several upsells had to be declined. So, if you don’t like upsells, you may not be happy with your findings.

They Didn’t Get Back to Me

For starters, in the members’ area, a big, bold, red inscription caught my attention. It read, “Read This First”. Then, it was followed by other lettering that read, “Need Personal Help? For a limited time only, I’m getting a small group of my most successful coaches to help guide you towards your financial goals.

However, we can only coach 5 students every single month, so if you are interested, please quickly fill up the information below & one of our certified coaches will give you a free consultation.”

A yellow, mega button that read, “Claim Your Free Consultation Now”, followed that inscription. I clicked on the mega button and registered for a free, personal consultation with Desmond Ong and his team, but never heard from them.

Desmond offers support through a Facebook group. I clicked on the big, blue button that read, “Join Desmond’s Student Group” and it led me to my Facebook account where I clicked on “Join Group”. However, my request is still pending after more than 24 hours.

Desmond Ong’s Free Website

Desmond Ong offers his customers a free website, which he claims is worth $497. However, this website can only be yours if you sign up with the Webhosting company he’s affiliated with. He presents you with a free website, which he values at $497, as a bait to get you to subscribe for hosting services that would yield him recurrent commissions.

However, the website, which he says is very valuable is actually worthless. I’ll tell you why in a moment as you read on. You and every other customer of Desmond Ong’s will have the same website, with the same content.

Google and other search engines, on which you depend for organic traffic, don’t take kindly to duplicate content, which is what the website Desmond Ong offers you is made of. The penalty of the search engines for duplicate content is poor search engine rankings. For these reasons, the website will do you no good as an internet marketer.

Desmond’s Webinar

Desmond Ong features one of his webinars in the members’ area, which, as I found, was a waste of time. He just went on about his achievements and showed off what a great quality of life he could afford to live because of his internet marketing success. He claimed he did that to inspire his followers.

But, I thought the webinar was meant to throw light on what practical things to do in order to succeed as an internet marketer. Inspiration is a good thing. But Desmond took way too long showing his audience photos of his pleasure trips around the world while he talked about all the fun he had, such that it came across as showing off.

Poor Quality Video

Some of Desmond’s tutorial videos were just plain annoying. One of them just suddenly stopped before the video made any sense. I thought it was my internet speed. So, I refreshed to double-check. Unfortunately, the video stopped at exactly the same position as before, and didn’t continue in the next video.

Desmond Doesn’t Show You How

Desmond Ong encourages his customers to create their own digital products in order to maximize income on the Internet, but doesn’t take the time to show them how. He only skims through the lessons, leaving a lot of blanks to be filled by his newbie followers.

Highly Hyped

Desmond claims his product sales page isn’t hyped. However, a look inside the members’ area reveals an exact opposite of his claims.

Final Rating: F

Desmond Ong has value to offer newbies in certain aspects, but doesn’t do a good job at handholding his customers to success. This product is far from capable of netting you $10,000 per month as Desmond claims it is. In fact, you probably won’t make any money with it.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an employee who has only worked 9 months, from oversea and called Dexter.

Try harder if you want to leave a “legit” review.

If you are indeed an ex-employee, then know that you’re probably fired for jeopardizing company or scamming my very own clients. (Which I’m pretty sure I know who you are.)

Hello, Like you I have purchased so many ‘ promises of financial success’ and only to be let down by almost all of them. I even lost money to one-on-mentoring . I am embarrassed to say that I have lost thousands over the past 13 years chasing the ‘next big launch. I have only made money with ClickBank and Ebay. A few years back I was told I needed a heart / liver transplant which I am currently awaiting. Since I am a single parent of twin’s I have chased everything to gain success but ended up broke. My time may be short; but all I ever wanted was just some success to show my children that it is possible to gain financial stability online.

Sadly, I attended a webinar with Desmond last night and was ready to invest it all just to learn from a successful mentor. Now I question it all. I think it best to build my own product with the valuable insights and knowledge I have gathered over the years. Anyway, I just want to thank you for your insight and guidance. Though disappointed, at least I found out now before spending more on useless pipe dreams.

Thank you,

Scott

Yeah this desmond ong is a f*#king scammer. I got one of his products earlier this year and the video quality was poor, he speaks too fast and it was complete rubbish that was so difficult to follow. Desmond Ong can’t train as he cant structure the training properly for a start. He jumps around with no consistent easy to follow structure. It was a joke.
His sales videos are complete lies. The product I got showed him going to his office, doing something on his pc for 5 minutes then off to get coffee. By the time he gets back hes made money.
He failed to show all the work that went on before that and it was so misleading and full of lies.
Stay away from anything this robber has to offer. If you really want his stuff, get a black copy from torrent and see for yourself, you will be glad you dodged the desmond ong bullet and saved money on his shonky products

Well, that’s called a “sales video”.

I know which product you’re talking about and to be honest with you, as an experienced CPA marketer – what he taught actually works.

I’m not here defending him because I agree he could’ve structure the course better, but what can you expect for a $7 product?

You’re never going to get a Rolls Royce for the price of a scooter. Be realistic, and stop chasing after fast results.

I’m an experienced CPA marketer too, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that what Desmond is teaching compared to many other people in this industry is absolute shit, especially when factoring in the sales claims that he makes. He’s setting is customers up for disappointment and failure with the expectations he gives them.

Don’t promise your customers you’re selling them a Rolls Royce and then deliver a scooter.

Hey Joey! There’s not much we can do to help, unfortunately. I recommend attending his training and trying to get the most you can out of it. If it doesn’t deliver on the sales claims you were promised, *then* I’d worry about it. But plan for the best and don’t get too discouraged yet — let us know if the training is everything you’re hoping it would be.

I felt cheated after attending his,so called workshop. Only listening to his so called luxury lifestyle and strategy. But don’t have idea where to begin and no platform or template to follow..My friend and I did a claim from consumer court and tomorrow is the judgement day. You can also get few of the attendees to complain and claim from consumer court. It’s free for every consumer that felt cheated or not value for money, self defense ! No need lawyer or any other legal charges.

I’ve worked for Desmond Ong’s company “Chromabit” for several months and I can say for certain that the ‘products’ he is advertising/selling are almost exclusively lies & scam and designed to trick potential customers to participate in his nonsense courses where they will lose their money for empty promises.

One of my numerous tasks as an employee was writing fake reviews and acting as some kind of bot in his online courses to make it appear like there were plenty of people listening and participating.

I can only warn anyone to do business with Desmond Ong, he is a liar and deceiver and will scam you for your money.
