Building a website is hard — particularly if it’s the first time you’re doing it.

People ask me all of the time, “Do I have to build a website?”  The answer is absolutely, indisputably — YES.

It’s in our nature to try to find a way around things that are difficult. That’s why so many product publishers lie and tell customers that they don’t need a website. If they can convince you that you can skip over one of internet business’ biggest challenges, it’s that much easier to sell you a course!

Building a website doesn’t have to be hard or complicated. It’s actually ridiculously simple to get a skeleton website up and running, which is ALL that’s required for the first several months of running your business.

Just follow what I do in these lessons step-by-step, and you’ll have a website up and running before you know it.

Please direct all questions and requests for support to the FIMP Facebook group (free for registered members).

  1. I cannot get on to this section 4 training it keeps taking me to the pop up to sign up for a free account – do I have to sign up for a website before this section — I am going to sign up for a website but I need to see this section in order to be able to do that don’t I??

  2. Hi Ian,

I sent my receipt over to you but as yet have not heard anything back. I am really eager to progress with the course. Please can you let me know how long it will be before I have full access?

  3. Just finished section 4. I have hosting with godaddy currently from other previous projects but I decided to get bluehost instead to support you. I’m completely new to affiliate marketing and I’m super excited and enjoying your training. Followed everything step by step. Onto section 5, I think I can finish this course before the 10 days!

    • Hey, Ian! Thank you so much for supporting FIMP! I’ll get you set up with the bonuses, I am confident that you will enjoy the advanced training! I can’t wait to see how your business unfolds in the coming weeks and months.

Keep us posted! Best of luck on the journey ahead!

  4. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never
found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth
enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.

  5. Great work Ian…Why do I see more and more people saying that they have the solution to make money online ? I’m beginning to think that it might be another scam because if a business online was so profitable why would people be doing this kind of advertising? Aren’t people busy enough working day to day on their businees online.?

    • Hey, Raybo! This is because a lot of people just enter the space and fail, but then decide to start selling courses and “teaching” others how to make money online, when they have no idea really how to do it themselves or they got lucky once.

The fact of the matter is most of these people sell digital courses as their full-time job instead of actually practicing what they preach for their full-time income. This is one of the things that I’m hoping to put an end to through FIMP. It’s why I run my internet businesses as my full-time income and FIMP is more of a “side grind” or passion project.

I think that any good teacher should be in the trenches next to his students and keeping up-to-date with the industry – which is what I aim to do here at FIMP.

Hopefully that provides a little bit of clarification. I honestly hate that about this industry, it’s something I’ve hated for years and a pattern that’s been present for as long as I can remember. Hopefully, it’s something we’ll be able to at least put an end to here at FIMP.

  6. Hi Ian
Words can express my deep appreciation of your dedication and hard work for the benefit for myself and many others. Huge thanks indeed. I will eventually share my story later. In the meantime the method you shared for google search Console in lesson 4.12 does not work for me? Attempt many other methods suggested for authentication, still not working. Unsure if you are able to help or where you can direct me. I spent numerous hours on this. I wish the make the deadline for Thursday, but this is putting a damper on time. Also I still have temporary domain. Not sure why or wordpress states; “for your information, we’re provisioning your wordpress installation on a temporary domain.” Could this affect the situation? Some of my URL show the temporary domain name. I just signed up for facebook first time. Still not sure how to post my questions with the group. Will continue to learn this next. If you can paste this for the group to see and assist, I would appreciate this immensely. Thanks

    • Have you “launched” your site from the Bluehost dashboard yet?

If you still have the Bluehost plugin installed, there’s a setting on your Bluehost dashboard for “launch site” that causes your site to be in “under construction” or “coming soon” mode. You have to make sure that mode is OFF in your Bluehost settings so that your site is launched. Otherwise your site is basically hidden behind a “wall” that Google can’t see behind to verify your website.

Also, after you make this tweak, it could take a few hours for Google to be able to verify the site accurately (due to caching). I hope that helps!

  7. Can someone help me. Yesterday I signed my domain via bluehost and wordpress. The site was change much since his video. I keep getting a message my domain is temporary site? I went on line and read through it. but didn’t help. Is this typical?
as a result my temp name is placed in SEO section. Your assistance is much appreciated? Thank You

    • Hey NLentir! Have you completed the setup for your nameservers?

I’d recommend going back through the videos for buying/setting up your domain, and the same for Bluehost. Every time an issue like this has come up so far, it’s been due to the fact that the member missed something in the videos, which they caught after following along carefully a second time.

If that doesn’t work, I’d recommend contact Bluehost support directly using the FIMP exclusive support options.

  8. I have a couple of websites; not doing much. But with your lessons, I was able to cleaned it up and going forward to do something with it.

Thank you and appreciate you giving up some of your knowledge.
