In this day and age, it seems like we can do almost anything from our phones. But can mobile devices truly handle blogging? The short answer is yes.
Mobile devices can handle basic front-end tasks, however, I don’t recommend taking this route because of one major problem that comes with blogging from a cell phone.
It’s a nightmare to type a blog post of any length on any cell phone. Imagine typing a 3000-word article on your phone. If that sounds daunting, keep in mind that you’ll begin typing longer-form articles as your blog grows (pushing 10,000 words or more).
Formatting an article from a cell phone will also prove difficult. A laptop screen and a mobile phone screen are significantly different in many ways.
For these reasons, I don’t recommend blogging from a mobile device – or at least not completely. Cell phones have their place and can play an instrumental role in managing a blog, though.
They give you the flexibility to manage your blog from anywhere. And once your blog is launched through WordPress, a computer is no longer required to continue posting, engaging and building your online brand.
