Congratulations! Here Are Your Hosting Bonuses!

Here’s everything you should ever need to know about managing your Bluehost account, getting the help you need, installing WordPress, working within cPanel, and more!

I’d recommend bookmarking this page so that you can find it easily in the future if/when you need it!

Bluehost’s Help Center Homepage: https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help

This is an exhaustive database of all the most common issues and questions that people have regarding their hosting accounts. If you have a problem, this would be the first resource to search.

Where to File a Ticket with Bluehost: https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/ticket

If you can’t find what you need in the help center linked above, you can file a ticket for more personalized help specific to your situation here. Bluehost is very good about replying promptly, in my experience.

Bluehost LiveChat: https://chat.bluehost.com/#start_chat

If you want even faster help (and you’re willing to wait a few minutes), their chat function can also be incredibly helpful. You should be able to get just about every problem you might encounter, unless it’s really complex, knocked it using LiveChat within 30-45 minutes.

All of Bluehost’s “How-To” Videos: https://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/tag/video_tutorial

Great for learning all of the basic ins and outs of your new hosting account, and how to accomplish the most common things that people seek to accomplish when signing up for hosting.

Installing WordPress on Bluehost: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/wp_install

An article that walks you step-by-step through how to install WordPress on your Bluehost account. Installing WordPress on any domain you own will be necessary first, before beginning to build your website.

What is cPanel, and What Do You Do With It? https://youtu.be/SyHBiBQERuc

If you’ve never worked with cPanel before (short for “control panel”), I’d recommend this overview. Basically everything you need to do with your hosting account is done using cPanel (including things like uploading files, creating email addresses for your website, etc.), so I highly recommend learning a bit about it and poking around in there when you get a chance!

If all else fails and you can’t figure out how to accomplish something for your site or server, don’t hesitate to reach out to Bluehost support directly using the links above.
