The Perfect Affiliate Storm Promises

Here’s a product that promises to show you an idiot-proof way to bank $126.61 or more, in affiliate commissions, every day. This program called The Perfect Affiliate Storm is allegedly going to yield money-making results in as short as 24 hours from purchase time. Chris Cole and Mark Barrett, the creators of The Perfect Affiliate Storm, claim that their Internet Marketing training product is newbie friendly and is a step-by-step, easy-to-follow, coaching program.

Why You’re Failing

The twosome say a lot of affiliate marketers are missing the mark and feeling frustrated because of a number of factors, which they identified as the following traditional features of a regular affiliate marketing process: 1) find an affiliate program in a market with low competition, 2) set up a website with reviews, 3) wait weeks or months for the search engines to send traffic the way of your website or 4) spend a ton of money on paid traffic that probably will or won’t convert.

Chris and Mark think those are outdated and flawed system components of affiliate marketing, which make it almost impossible to register any success as an online entrepreneur. Instead of the above affiliate marketing approach, they promise they’ll show their customers how to make money online, following an enhanced formula, which they call the “Perfect Formula For Making Affiliate Sales.”

Elements of The Perfect Affiliate Storm

They stated the elements of this formula as follows: 1) it must be easy to find products that have affiliate programs to sell, 2) the affiliate vendors must pay commission quickly (instant commissions are the most ideal), 3) traffic must be free or incredibly inexpensive, 4) it should be easy to get $100 per day within 30 days or less and scale up from there.

They say what constitutes The Perfect Affiliate Storm is all four of the elements above. They say, with The Perfect Affiliate Storm, you can get off the ground and get going, even if you’re not an expert, even if you have no affiliates or joint venture partners, even if you have no mailing list, even if you have no product, even if you have little or no money, even if you have no technical skills, even if you have no marketing experience, and even if all the time you can spare in a day is 30-60 minutes.

More Promises

They promise to show you the best affiliate networks to begin doing business with. They even promised to reveal the wrong word(s) you should never use when seeking approval as an affiliate. They promise to reveal why it’s important to review every product you promote for affiliate commission and how to get free review access. They promise to show you 11 free traffic methods that you can use to drive traffic to your affiliate offers and start making sales in as little as 24 hours from the moment you start the training.

Heck, they also promise to reveal a little-known software that’ll drive more traffic to your offers and give you more conversions, on autopilot. They say most internet marketers aren’t aware of this software and that this information alone is worth the price of their entire product.

They promise to reveal the tricks that all the top affiliates are using to make hundreds of dollars per day in affiliate commissions, and how you can use it to achieve the same results. Please use the link provided above to see the rest of their promises on their sales page.

I’m Not Selling This Product

I’m not by any means connected to Chris Cole and Mark Barrett, and I’m not promoting their product, The Perfect Affiliate Storm. I’m only reviewing it without any bias to provide consumer-experience-based information for my readers who’re probably looking to buy. This will enable them make informed decisions on whether or not they should buy this product. This is my way of trying to protect them (my readers) from wasting money and time on Internet Marketing products that’ll not make them any money in return for their investments.

The Perfect Affiliate Storm Review at a Glance

The product you’re probably looking to buy is an eBook on Internet Marketing best practices. It’s not everything the publishers claim it is and isn’t entirely crappy either. The publishers kept some of their promises but not others. Which promises they kept and which ones they didn’t keep were pointed out within the body of the review. So dig in and find out.

After I Paid for the Product

After I paid for The Perfect Affiliate Storm, I got hit by a perfect affiliate hurricane of upsells. The first was an upsell that costs $17. After I said “no thanks,” I was presented with another offer of $9 (a down sell), which I also turned down. After that, there was a Tube Pilot promotion, which was about a software to help affiliate marketers make money through YouTube videos, which the software called Tube Pilot would help them achieve.

Tube Pilot costs $27, $47 and $67 for its three plans namely “basic personal,” “premium personal” and “unlimited personal” respectively. After I declined the Tube Pilot upsell, I got hit by another upsell. This time, it was something called Affilio player with three plans that cost $27, $37 and $67. After I said no to that too, I met another upsell of $197. Needless to say, you can accurately guess what I did. I passed.

Then, I was offered the same product for $97. These guys obviously don’t know how the mind of the average buyer works. This is one of the most annoying barrages of upsells and down sells I’ve ever encountered on the Internet. I passed again and was finally allowed access to my purchase.

The Product

The product is an eBook. There are two files in the product folder. They’re The Perfect Affiliate Storm 2.0 Resources.pdf, which is a 5-page document and The Perfect Affiliate Storm 2.0.pdf, which is a 53-page document. The first PDF document contains the resources referred to in the main eBook. The second PDF document is the main eBook itself.  The eBook, The Perfect Affiliate Storm, started with a bit about its two authors, Chris Cole and Mark Barrett.

On their sales page, the publishers of the eBook sounded like reviewing products as a means of sending traffic to an affiliate offer is an old-fashioned approach to affiliate marketing and is very likely one of the reasons for so much failure among affiliate marketers.

But, in their eBook, they seem to be cool with the very idea they pronounced outdated and ineffective. The content on their sales page is grossly misleading. They make it seem like they have methods entirely ahead of the pack to offer, only to dust up and offer the very same old methods everyone else is using. Naaah, not an ethical way to market.

That’s not the only misleading information on that sales page. If you went through that sales page, you’d have noticed how exciting those promises are. That’s because they’re mostly unrealistic, out of this world promises. Just a reminder of some of them below.

These guys claim even if you don’t have the reputation of an expert, have no affiliates or joint venture partners, have zero subscribers on your list, have no products of your own with no idea of what products to promote as an affiliate, have little or no money to invest, have no technical skills, have zero marketing skills, and can spare only 30-60 minutes a day, you’ll be able to start making money in as little as 24 hours from the time you begin to read their eBook/get their training.

Make money in as little as 24 hours

That’s a truckload of crap. If you know anything about affiliate marketing, then, you know there’s a learning curve for entry-level newbies that won’t take only 30-60 minutes per day to produce any results. Of course, 60 minutes per day can produce a result – frustration. Don’t get it twisted, affiliate marketing is very rewarding. In fact, the sky would be your limit if it’s done right and scaled to the next level.

But, it takes more than 30-60 minutes per day to learn the ropes. If it’s true that you can take only 30-60 minutes per day to make money in 24 hours, then, it means you’re guaranteed to make money within your first 30-60 minutes of work as a stark newbie in the affiliate marketing industry because per day is the same as 24 hours. Oh, please!

Even an absolute dummy will easily see through that hype. Believe it or not, it’s not typical to see positive results in 24 hours from startup time, as a stark newbie. You can get the kind of results you’re dreaming of if you’re willing to put in the time and effort without giving up before you make a breakthrough. Don’t waste your time with anyone who tells you otherwise.

The Little Known Internet Marketing Sofware

I personally watched out for the little-known Internet Marketing software/app that most affiliate marketers aren’t aware of, according to Chris and Mark, which was talked about on the sales page. It was actually revealed, kudos to them. It’s an app that works with Google Hangouts and helps promote your affiliate links, giving your offers more potential to be seen and accessed without much work or expense on your part.

Overall, the eBook has valuable information, some of them being very insightful for affiliate marketers. But, it certainly doesn’t satisfy the promise of helping affiliate marketers with no solid foundation start making money in about 24 hours from startup time. Much of the promise is hype.

The Bonuses

I downloaded the product and was presented with bonuses to also download. Every one of those bonuses was an email grabber through a squeeze page, except the one called “Fast Action Bonus Downloads.” There were two bonus eBooks, Influx.pdf and Social Media Power.pdf in that particular folder.

For the record, the eBooks (the product and the bonuses) were painstakingly written in good English. While going through the eBook titled “Influx,” I discovered something that seemed like a contradiction. These guys sounded, on their sales page, like they knew how to completely do without SEO to drive traffic without hassles. Furthermore, on introducing the eBook, they also sounded like SEO wasn’t of that much importance, as it’s unstable and unpredictable. But, I observed that they still recognized SEO as a means of free traffic to offers.

Again, something they wrote about SEO seemed to be encouraging an SEO malpractice that could get their readers in trouble. They seemed to be encouraging the use of duplicate content to source for traffic via e-zine sites. Though, they acknowledge the risk involved.

They encourage their readers to write high-quality articles and post on e-zine sites, hoping that someone in their niche picks them up and posts them on another site, which would constitute duplicate content and get both original article owner site and article lifting site punished by the search engines with poor rankings and near invisibility.

Again, as much as the eBook contains a lot of traffic-driving, Internet Marketing, useful hints, which are scattered here and there within its pages, it’s mostly theoretical, brief and shallow.

The information in the second eBook, Social Media Power is also not entirely crap, but mostly shallow theory.

Final Rating: C

Yes, you can make money with this product if you go through all of its content and go out of your way to find other vital information to fill in the gaps left uncovered by it. Again, drop any hope of making money with this product within the first 24 hours of your buying it and applying its methods to your Internet Marketing business because that’s typically not going to happen, especially if you’re an entry-level newbie.
