The EBook Profit Academy is a product by Jon Crimes, who says that his product has been making him a passive $1,000 per month. According to him, his product is a complete eBook training that shows his trainees how to make a living passively by publishing eBooks in a step-by-step manner. He claims that his EBook Profit Academy will make you money even if you only apply its methods on a part-time basis. He says he’ll show you how to do the following: Outsource the majority of the publishing work and still be in profit, inspire yourself with the confidence to be a successful eBook publisher, free more time for yourself to work on more eBooks and make more money, quickly ramp up your eBook sales, and so on.
I’m not in partnership with Jon Crimes to showcase and sell his EBook Profit Academy as an affiliate for commissions. This is my objective review to help my readers decide whether it can help them or not.
Just in case you’re in a hurry, here’s a brief version: Jon’s EBook Profit Academy is a great read and is informative. But you might not succeed with it because you’ll need to spend more money than you’re probably looking to. Don’t let the frontend price fool you. There’s more to it than that. Again, even if you choose to save your hard-earned bucks and do everything the cost-free way, you might still get stuck because of all the demands you’ll have to meet. The details are in the main body of the review.
After I made a payment, I was redirected to a few upsells and downsells. I was then given access to the product.
In the members’ area, I was presented with links to download my purchase, which I tried to do. I successfully downloaded the PDF and its accessories, but I couldn’t download the videos. My attempt to download the videos triggered a message that read, “Already logged in but don’t have access to some content? Some content requires membership upgrade….”
That means if you’re like most people who learn better with audio-visual aids, you’ll have to pay Jon Crimes more money to get access to his video lessons. Otherwise, you’ll be stuck with the eBook version of his training, which isn’t bad for a non-visual learner. The eBook is a 64-page material that was written in good English.
Jon Crimes’ EBook Profit Academy is all about writing and publishing Kindle books on Amazon to earn passive income over time, as he promised on his sales page. Jon explained the steps in a manner that anyone could follow and implement. He started by introducing Kindle publication to his readers and briefly outlined the benefits of being a Kindle publisher on Amazon before getting to the meat of the training.
Then, he gave his readers clues on some of the factors to success as Kindle publishers. One of those factors is something known as BSR, which stands for best seller ranking on the Amazon platform. He called attention to the importance of this factor and showed them how to keep the BSR of their Kindle books above average to keep making money.
But the trouble is that this will cost his readers money in some cases, which they might not be ready to spend. His sales page doesn’t mention having to spend so much money to get a Kindle book out there and popular. He recommended something he called “paid review swap,” which involves buying other Kindle publishers’ books and getting them to buy yours in order to exchange reviews.
These reviews are supposed to boost the BSR of your books. But if your publication is less expensive than your paid review swap partner’s, you’ll lose money. How much you lose will depend on how many paid review swaps you buy from your paid review swap partners with more expensive Kindle books.
Apart from that, he strongly recommends outsourcing the Kindle publication process, which most newbies will find more helpful than trying to do it themselves, especially if they’re not gifted writers and don’t have the other necessary skills sets such as graphic design skills for their Kindle book cover and so on. But it will set them back by $50 to $150 or more, which they might not have bargained for. Jon Crimes himself admits that he spends that much to get his Kindle books published by freelancers.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to spend money, you’ll have to do the work yourself. Jon Crimes did a great job of showing his readers exactly what to do in a very detailed, step-by-step, practical manner with illustrative screenshots. But despite the fact that his EBook Profit Academy material is one of the best training materials I’ve seen out there (second only to K Money Mastery, which also costs more but is well worth the price), some newbies still won’t be able to get through without hiccups.
That’s because the process is quite demanding. First, you’ll have to do all the keyword research using Amazon’s search. Then, you’ll do some more keyword research using Google’s keyword planner. After that, you’ll create your chapter ideas. Then, you’ll roll up your sleeves and write the main body of the Kindle book, after which you’ll have to write your eBook description between HTML tags to format for Amazon’s Kindle platform.
Next, you’ll have to link your Kindle books to your autoresponder to grow an email list of future buyers. Then there’s the book cover to design. Chances are that newbie students will be stuck and frustrated if they’re not visually shown how to do these things. Jon Crimes has that provision, but requires more money for his students to have access to it.
Jon Crimes’ EBook Profit Academy is one of the best Kindle publishing training resources I’ve ever seen. But there’s so much work to be done, which Jon won’t show you how to do visually unless you pay him more money. Again, if you choose to outsource it, you’ll have to spend more money than you’re probably looking to spend on this business model, which his sales page doesn’t highlight before check out.
However, if you can get through all the hassles or you can afford to outsource the entire process, you can make money with it after a while. But most folks will probably have trouble passing those hurdles, which is why I’m recommending this 100% free training that holds your hand and shows you how to make money online. With this free training, you’ll also have the support of a community of successful internet marketers who’ll be there for you as you start your journey to Internet Marketing success.
